How to Start a Podcast in Chiang Mai (2026)

Chiang Mai has become a genuine hub for creators, founders and remote workers, and a lot of them want to start a podcast. Here is a practical, local guide to getting from idea to published episode, without overcomplicating it.

1. Decide the format and the audience

Before any gear, answer two questions: who is this for, and what shape is it? A solo commentary, a two-person conversation, or an interview show all need different setups. A clear answer here makes every later decision easier, from how many microphones you need to how you edit.

2. Sort out the gear, or skip it

To record a podcast that sounds professional you need, at minimum, a good microphone, headphones and recording software. For video, add a camera and lighting. You have two honest paths:
